The 2000 Winter carnival was a great success! The weather was cold, the ice on the lake was thick,
and the events and people that came to see them were great! Charlie Papa Bear and The Lake George
Polar Bear club was a hit as always, swimming in the frigid waters of the lake every weekend.
We are now gearing up for the 2001 Winter Carnival, you can view the 2001 events right here.
The snowmobile water skip, with Lake George locals Michael Chimiak and friends, always draws a big
crowd. Will they make it across the open water or will they sink? You'll just have to come and see for
yourself.
If you visit Lake George in the Summer, you really must visit us for the winter season, Just imagine, the Adirondack Mountains covered in a blanket of white.
